About the Class
Restorative Yoga is about resting, not stretching. It is the practice of intentional relaxation. By using bolsters, blankets, and blocks to fully support the physical body, you are able to hold poses for extended periods without any muscular effort. This allows the nervous system to shift into a state of profound rest and healing.
Who It's For
Everyone — but particularly beneficial for those recovering from injury, experiencing high stress or anxiety, or simply needing a gentle reset. Also excellent for athletes and active people who never slow down.
Class Structure
We will set up 4 to 6 fully supported postures over the course of the hour, guided by gentle breath awareness and calming instruction. Props are set up before class begins.
